Top 5 Edibles You Should Be Eating Right Now

If it’s not clear to you yet, I love edibles. I especially love trying edibles I have never seen before.

In recent years, the infused market has exploded with all different kinds of treats. I’m talking coffee drinks, vegan gummies, flavored oils, artisanal chocolates, cookies, granola bars, and so much more.

New edibles are popping up everyday so there have been plenty of options – in both CBD and THC– to keep me very busy (and very high).  After much experimentation, I’ve compiled a list of some of my absolute favorite edibles!

Potli Apple Cider Vinegar:

I live in LA and am therefore inherently health obsessed.

When I heard that Potli added an infused apple cider vinegar to their already exciting line of products, I was eager to try. Research suggests that apple cider vinegar can help with digestive health and it has many uses around the kitchen. You can drink it on its own, add it to a salad dressing, or make your own mocktail. When I was finally able to get my hands on this frosted bottle of hemp, I was impressed. .

Potli’s Apple Cider Vinegar is light, tart, and a little sharp – just what you would expect from a cider vinegar, but with the added benefit of CBD. I took a shot of it in the morning with my tea, and it was immediately energizing and gave way to a calm sensation. Best of all, you can feel good supporting Potli. Potli was founded by 2 real-life best friends with their mission centers around happiness, honesty, and health. Since then, they have crafted their products with that same integrity in mind. Potli’s Apple Cider Vinegar is the perfect addition to any kitchen.

Défoncé Chocolate

I first discovered Défoncé in the swag bag of a cannabis event I attended and I was immediately struck by the sleek and expensive look of their packaging – it just looked like I was about to bite straight into pure THC luxury.

I was lucky enough to receive a few different flavors in my goodie bag and I was pleased to see their impressive range of gourmet chocolate, like mint milk chocolate and matcha tea white chocolate. I decided to try their coconut dark chocolate bar first. I carefully opened the almost artistic box and was met by glowing iridescent wrapping, just like Willy Wonka. At this point, I hadn’t even taken a bite and already felt like I had won the dang Golden Ticket! The chocolate bar itself is broken up into funky triangles instead of your traditional squares for easy dosing. I broke myself off a corner and, ohhhhh this chocolate. It’s smooth, it’s creamy, it’s decadent without being overpowering, the flavors are delicate and in perfect balance, and best of all – it doesn’t taste like weed. In fact, you may forget you’re eating an edible at all.

Enjoy Défoncé with caution.

Kanha Gummies

While I do love edibles and sugar, I’ve never been a big gummy fan. Especially weed gummies.

In my past experiences, THC gummies have the texture of a bootleg gummy worm and often taste like some nondescript chemical fruity flavor that is desperately trying to cover up the overpowering taste of weed. I was first swayed to try a sample of their peach-flavored THC infused gummy by a Kanha brand ambassador, and only because my nickname is Peach (that’s not a joke). I popped the sugar-coated little peach pillow into my mouth and I was not expecting much. But that little peach pillow punched me right in the mouth, with subtle fruit flavor that actually tasted like peach. The taste of weed was still there, but the flavors seemed to compliment it instead of fighting it or trying to disguise it.

Kanha gummies are chewy, soft, and the little coating of sugar on the outside adds a hint of crunch. That Kanha Gummy brand ambassador successfully converted me into a gummy lover. Kanha also has an incredibly wide array of flavors, like lychee and pineapple, and many are vegan. They also have THC and CBD infused options as well as a line of gummies that are chemically designed to have a quicker onset than your typical gummy.

If you’re at all skeptical about gummies, I highly recommend trying Kanha Gummies.

Shoogies Cane Sugar and Agave Nectar

I love finding new ways to add cannabis to my life in ways that feel effortless. There are only so many cookies you can eat a day (or are there?).

Shoogies Cane Sugar and Agave Nectar make it easy to give yourself a little cannabis boost throughout the day. Shoogies products give you a gentle and uplifting high that won’t make you crash. Both the sugar and agave nectar come in individual packets so you can take them anywhere with you to throw in your coffee, add to your tea, or chug before a blind date (not that I would know).

If you want to add cannabis to your life in a way that already fits your routine, pick up a pack of Shoogies Cane Sugar and Agave.
